WAIDELOTTE is a new Extreme Metal band from Ukraine combining Black Metal, melodic Death Metal and Progressive Metal with traditional Folk singing and instrumentation. The project gathers individuals with diverse musical backgrounds, including members of SOEN, WHITE WARD, NAONI ORCHESTRA, ТІНЬ СОНЦЯ and SOLAR KOLLAPSE amongst others.

Impassioned and addictive debut album "Celestial Shrine" balances violent riffing, driving rhythms, fluid basslines and raging vocals with a poignant sense of melancholy via plaintive, exultant rural harmonies and the use of native instruments including the duduk, bandura, tsymbaly and hurdy-gurdy.

^^ man vispār šķita, ka i 5 jauni nesanāk, it sevišķi, ja tas viens jaunais jau pāris gadus vecs. Būtībā tikai titulgabals kārtigi iespārda.

Es vispār šo tendenci (gandrīz visas dziesmas kā singlus / EP izlaist pirms albuma) nesaprotu. Turklāt redzēts, ka EP ir sākumā ar 3, tad 5, tad 7 dziesmām, kur pirmās ir tādas pašas, kā iepriekšējā (Within Temptation uz sitiena nāk prātā).

^ droši vien saistīts ar mūsdienu vairākuma klausīšanās paradumiem, t.i. straumēšanas servisiem. Albumus, kaut vai straumējot, jau reti kurš tagad klausās.

Heh. Klausos čehu MALLEPHYR jaunāko veikumu, un pie sevis domāju, ka rifāža diezgan atgādina Mayhem Blasphemera laikos, tikai kopumā desīgāks. Nu tipa kā varētu izklausīties Vltimas, ja viņi spēlētu drusku drosmīgāku muzonu. Tad sāku domāt, vai tik tamlīdzīgas domas par kaut ko jau nav bijušas. Ierakstu meklētājā, un ko es atrodu?

"(...) gāju paraudzīt, kas notiek uz mazās skatuves. Kā jau minēju, šoreiz tā bija bez sienām (tikai mugurpusē aiz skatuves), kas bija labākais risinājums šajos laika apstākļos. Tur spēlēja kaut kādi jaunieši kapucēs, un mūzika izklausījās kā Mayhem un Morbid Angel krustojums. Ļoti solīdi izklausījās, noskatījos visu setu, un tiku skaidrībā, ka saucās viņi MALLEPHYR.(...)
