WAIDELOTTE is a new Extreme Metal band from Ukraine combining Black Metal, melodic Death Metal and Progressive Metal with traditional Folk singing and instrumentation. The project gathers individuals with diverse musical backgrounds, including members of SOEN, WHITE WARD, NAONI ORCHESTRA, ТІНЬ СОНЦЯ and SOLAR KOLLAPSE amongst others.

Impassioned and addictive debut album "Celestial Shrine" balances violent riffing, driving rhythms, fluid basslines and raging vocals with a poignant sense of melancholy via plaintive, exultant rural harmonies and the use of native instruments including the duduk, bandura, tsymbaly and hurdy-gurdy.

^^ man vispār šķita, ka i 5 jauni nesanāk, it sevišķi, ja tas viens jaunais jau pāris gadus vecs. Būtībā tikai titulgabals kārtigi iespārda.

Es vispār šo tendenci (gandrīz visas dziesmas kā singlus / EP izlaist pirms albuma) nesaprotu. Turklāt redzēts, ka EP ir sākumā ar 3, tad 5, tad 7 dziesmām, kur pirmās ir tādas pašas, kā iepriekšējā (Within Temptation uz sitiena nāk prātā).

^ droši vien saistīts ar mūsdienu vairākuma klausīšanās paradumiem, t.i. straumēšanas servisiem. Albumus, kaut vai straumējot, jau reti kurš tagad klausās.

Heh. Klausos čehu MALLEPHYR jaunāko veikumu, un pie sevis domāju, ka rifāža diezgan atgādina Mayhem Blasphemera laikos, tikai kopumā desīgāks. Nu tipa kā varētu izklausīties Vltimas, ja viņi spēlētu drusku drosmīgāku muzonu. Tad sāku domāt, vai tik tamlīdzīgas domas par kaut ko jau nav bijušas. Ierakstu meklētājā, un ko es atrodu?

"(...) gāju paraudzīt, kas notiek uz mazās skatuves. Kā jau minēju, šoreiz tā bija bez sienām (tikai mugurpusē aiz skatuves), kas bija labākais risinājums šajos laika apstākļos. Tur spēlēja kaut kādi jaunieši kapucēs, un mūzika izklausījās kā Mayhem un Morbid Angel krustojums. Ļoti solīdi izklausījās, noskatījos visu setu, un tiku skaidrībā, ka saucās viņi MALLEPHYR.(...)

Jāatzīst, ka man par milzīgu pārsteigumu jaunais Nocturnus "Unicursal" ir tīri smeķīgs. Pēc 2 reižu noklausīšanās šis laikam ir favorīts - Hod, the Stellar Light. Brīžiem pat izdodās radīt The Key noskaņojumu. Vokāls bik samocīts, bet vispār liekas, ka ir OK.

Baigi spožais vokālists Braunings nekad nav bijis, nav brīnums, ka uz vecumu nav arī labāks palicis. Bet tas nav būtiski, kamēr akurāt ausīs negriež.

Pārrakstītais Sepultura's Schizophrenia albums (meklēt zem Cavalera Conspiracy, un bračkas pielikuši vienu gabalu klāt) izklausās pārsteidzoši jestri.

Runājot par Sepulturu - jaunais Troops of Doom arī pavelk smuki.

Orden Ogan savu BlindGuardian/Sabbaton līniju ietur labi. Visions of Atlantis gan nepacelsies augstāk manās acīs.
Altare of Oblivion ir normāls dūms padevies, bet arī neliks spriņģot priekā. The Eternal man patik (austrāļu gotika), un būs jāčeko sīkāk.

Jap, Troops of Doom iet labi iekšā, labāk par pirmo albumu.

Par Ulcerate vēl īsti viedokļa nav, ir dažas reizes noklausīts, pagaidām šķiet, ka līdz iepriekšējam īsti nevelk, bet tur jāklausās vēl. Nav īsti bijis noskaņojuma.

Sear Bliss jaunais ir tīri jauks, savukārt Hail Spirit Noir ir visai pizdātijs pat - ir manāma čerņas deva atgriezusies.

Evergrey un Witherfall ir diezgan labi. Ja kārojas Nightwish, tad Elvellon ir labs.
NWOBHM otrā/trešā ešelona banda Cloven Hoof izrādās jau padsmit gadus atkal ražo albumus - jaunais ir OK, ja patīk agrīnais Iron Maiden ar Judas Priest piešprici.

Ja kāds atceras 90-to beigu zviedru bandu Scheitan ( www.metal-archives.com/bands/Scheitan/3241... ), tad šie ir izdevuši jaunu albumu, bet spēlē tagad Gothic Rock. Diezgan labu.

Uzmetu ausi arī Ulcerate un Sear Bliss - nav mans.

Crypt Sermon tiks noklausīts.
Evergrey bija ierasti lielisks.
Cloven Hoof ir OK. Ja par C kategorijas NWOBHM, nesen atcerējos, ka diemžēl Hell nav aktīvi. Sucks, jo abi viņu pēc-apvienošanās albumi bija lieliski, IMHO.

Scheitan albums, btw, saucas "Songs for Gothic People" - tas, lai nesajūk. Bet paklausīšos.

Portrait albums arī labs. Triddana var paklausīties, ja patīk labi daudz folka iekš heavy.
No vieglā gala - Kissin' Dynamite jaunais albums ir labā līmenī. Rhapsody of Fire joprojām ir lieliski (un tikpat sieraini, jā). Un Riot V turpina priecēt - arī "Mean Streets" bija lielisks.

Triddana man tīri labi patika - var mierīgi ar Skilltron tūrēt. Dynamita pāris reizes paklausīts - bija labi savam stilam.

Peruāņu CHASKA jaunu EP izdevuši - Prog/Folk laikam stilistiski - ir pāris labi gabali.

Par Cloven Hoof aizmirsāt pieminēt, ka tur tagad vokalē Harry Conklin no Jag Panzer, Satan's Host u.c. Šeit pat man viņa vokāls nekaitināja, kā iepriekš.

Ch'aska tiku kaut kad bišķi paklausījies, bet neripina, ap vidu apnika.

Jaunais SETH ir sakarīgs franču melobleķis, var manīt arī kādas vēsmas Nokturnal Mortum/Khors stilā.

Ā, un zviedru Vanhelgd jaunu albumu izlaiduši. Šiem ir samērā interesants skanējums - diezgan melns Death Metal vairāk uz somu Desas pusi. Dzied zviedriski, kas piedod papildus niansi.

Jauns Krallice. Jāsaka, ka labs 'kā jau ierasts'. Es gan nezinu, cik ilgi viņi varēs turpināt izdot pa diviem albumiem gadā. krallice.bandcamp.com/album/inorganic-rit...

Izdot albumu reizi 5 gados jau ir jaunmodīga lieta - 2000-šo beigās ievazāta. 70-os divi albumi gadā bija standarts. 80-os - un 90-os albums reizi gadā bija normāla lieta. Nevarēja saprast, ko tur daži bremzē divus gadus.

Ar mūsdienās pieejamo kopējo materiāla apjomu gan lietas ir mainījušās - lai arī esmu Krallice fans, ir pagrūti izsekot visam viņu izdotajam, iedziļināties tajā. Siņķiku faniem / doomeriem gan obligāti iesaku noklausīties 2022. gadā izdoto Crystalline Exhaustion.

^ Ta jau Skaji ir ekstramoderni, drīz būs 10 gadi starp albumiem. Starp bandām, kas pa vidu nav pārtraukušas darbību, varētu būt ilgāko paužu starp albumiem topa augšgalā.

p.s. par Krallice agrāk baigi fanoju, bet kaut kā necepī pēdējie 9 - 10 diski. Crystalline Exhaustion title treks bija baigi labs, Porous Resonance Abyss arī bija labs. Dimensional Bleedthrough - Years Past Matter tomēr bija zelta laiki.

Noklausījos to Krallice divas reizes. Sākumā bija tāds watafaks tipa uz Liturgy pusi, bet pusalbumā sāka dominēt retrosynthwave, kas uz pirmās puses fona jau bija klausāmāks. Laikam jau cilvēkiem vajadzīgs tamlīdzīgs Ewigkeit-veidīgs mistrojums no visa kā. Neizbrīna, ka tādā veidā var divus albumus gadā ražot — ieraksta visu, kas ienāk prātā, samet čupā un sper laukā.

Krallice skanējumā manu ļoti pārdomātas, bez maz vai 'orķestrālas' / 'simfoniskas' kompozīcijas, pilnīgi neko uz 'ieraksta visu, kas ienāk prātā, samet čupā un sper laukā' pusi. Bet pieņemsim, ka katram savs.
